gastronomy

The region offers a rich and varied gastronomy. Farmhouse Pélardon cheeses, Nîmes olives, Cévennes honey, Camargue bull, fruity olive oil... so many flavors to discover at the markets or at a restaurant.

In Nîmes, several markets are held throughout the week. Les Halles come alive every morning. Numerous producers and artisans await you. On Friday mornings, stroll among the stalls of the organic market on Avenue Jean-Jaurès to discover local products.

It's only thirty minutes from Uzès, to the Place aux Herbes. There, nearly 200 producers showcase the richness of the Gard region every Saturday morning.
